Here in Rio Nido

On weekends, music fills the air from our neighbors at the Rio Nido Roadhouse. We’re delighted to be a part of this venue’s continued history as it unfolds.

Our little hamlet’s also chock-full of things to do for all ages. Not only does the Rio Nido Roadhouse offer great live music. They also have delicious food, cool drinks, a swimming pool, and a lawn for beach chairs and relaxing.

Our homeowners’ association (RNHOA) also runs our Pee Wee Minigolf and summer holiday events. The holiday barbecues are fun for all ages, with live music, and fun games for the kids. You can also get wine, beer, and sodas. Also, keep an eye out for the pancake breakfasts and art shows.

ABOUT US

Our Team

When Dennis Judd bought the Rio Nido Lodge back in 2009, this lovely historic property had seen better days. It had flooded, fallen into disrepair, and began to attract some unsavory elements.

Luckily, Dennis was the right person to restore this diamond-in-the-rough to its former shine. As a developer, he has over 30 years of experience in fixing up distressed commercial properties. His achievements include a massive renovation of the old American Wine building in nearby Forestville. After years of being vacant, he and his wife Anna gave it a facelift and began renting out spaces in 2009.

Taking a similar approach, he cleaned up the building and renovated it. Dennis also worked closely with people in the neighborhood to make critical improvements and upgrades. With help from team members Martine Widmann and Elena Chronis, the Rio Nido Lodge is fully booked all summer and has become a great success.
